For the operational business of our client, we are looking for an ambitious, analytical Financial Controller who wants to make an impact on setting up top-tier, modern, scalable finance processes. This is a broad position in a specialized, highly data driven environment. First focus within the role will be responsible for the administration of a datacenter. You are the one that controls all financial aspects such as booking purchase invoices, invoicing customers, assist in VAT returns and the month-end closing process.

Subsequently you will support the business controller in performing financial analysis and reporting. Together we will improve the finance processes and IT systems.

• Managing & optimalisation of financial close and periodic reporting process
• Maintain accounting and reporting policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with e.g. Dutch GAAP and tax norms
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual report and the annual audit
• Support the business controller in analysis and reporting.
• Support finance (IT) projects
• Responsible for the administration of a datacenter. This includes booking and archiving of purchase and sales invoices
