What are you going to do

For Róhe, a design studio focused on creating a contemporary wardrobe, we are seeking a Financial Controller. As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting and overseeing the financial activities. You are a strategic thinker who effectively manages purchasing and sales processes, leveraging advanced systems such as ItsPerfect and ExactOnline. You will work in the beautiful office on Herengracht in Amsterdam, collaborating closely with various departments (from sales to logistics) to ensure financial health and facilitate informed decision-making. You will report to the Head of Finance and manage the AP and AR Accountant.

Róhe is a high-end fashion company catering to international B2B clients, where the main focus is on managing and tackling challenges, particularly those related to manufacturer price increases. Working alongside colleagues from the finance team, you will be responsible for managing financial activities, including transitioning to new systems and auditing financial processes.

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Manage and strategize the administrative processes from a financial perspective
  • Monitor cashflow, suspense accounts and commission-overviews
  • Compile and analyze monthly management reports
  • Coordinate and provide support for financial administrative tasks
  • Promote and efficient working environment within the department through streamlined processes

Your profile
  • You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in an accounting or controlling position
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to maintain a comprehensive overview of financial and organizational operations
  • You are a team player who is result-driven, entrepreneurial, resilient, customer-focused and solution-oriented
  • Strong financial acumen and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in ExactOnline
  • You are assertive, motivated, and enthusiastic, with a proactive approach to work
  • You have a good command of the English language and Dutch is also welcome
  • Experience or interest in the fashion industry is advantageous

  • A salary of €50,000 - €61.000 per year, depending on education and previous work experience

The office of our client is located in the heart of Amsterdam and is easily accessible by public transport. Currently, there are 35 employees, with an international work environment where there is room for growth and assumption of responsibilities. The design team is based in Korea, the UK, and Denmark, while other teams primarily work in the Netherlands.
