Financial Business Controller

For our client, a fast-growing TIC organization in Utrecht, we are looking for a Financial Business Controller. As a Finanical Business Controller in this organization, you are responsible for the quality of the financial administration and reporting together with the Manager Financial Control and a Finance Administrator. You will ensure the integrity of the financial accounts, help to resolve accounting challenges and help to scale the financial processes. In addition, you will further setup business controlling. You will be the sparring partner for the four Business Unit Managers and will drive the budgeting and year plan development, target setting, monthly reporting to the investor and (further) develop a KPI framework with financial and BI dashboards. In this position you will report to the Manager Financial Control.
Dit zijn jouw werkzaamheden
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting, preparing the monthly reporting and analyses, cashflow forecasts, tax filings, statutory annual accounts
  • Providing valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on the integration of administrations of new organizations within the group and support the strategic projects such as M&A and improvement initiatives
  • Further setup business controlling
  • Responsible for setting up project controlling and subsequently monitoring, ensuring an accurate reflection of the financial administration
  • Be the sparring partner for the four Business Unit Managers and will drive the budgeting and year plan development, target setting, monthly reporting to the investor and (further) develop a KPI framework with financial and BI dashboards
Dit breng je mee
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
  • 3 – 5 years of experience within a big-6 company or experience as a financial controller
  • Analytical mindset, savvy with numbers and the ability to report analyzes crisp and clear, supported by figures and commentaries
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Dutch is an advantage
  • Problem-solving capabilities, a fine eye for detail and a hands-on and can-do mentality

They want to double the business through organic growth and triple through M&A activities.
