Assistant Controller

What are you going to do
We are looking for a broadly-oriented Assistant Controller for Chrysal, who has been the driving force in the flower and plants industry for decades. In this position, you perform controlling activities for their subsidiaries in Kenya and the UK. Furthermore, you contribute to the monthly closing-, budget-, annual reporting- and forecasting processes. You report directly to the Finance Manager EMEA. Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Perform controlling activities for their subsidiaries in Kenya and the UK
  • Contribute to the monthly closing-, budget-,  annual reporting - and forecasting process
  • Analyze and explain periodic results in relation to budget, forecast and/ or previous years
  • Further improve current reports and prepare periodic reports
  • From a finance point of view, prepare and support the implementation of MS Dynamics AX in subsidiaries abroad
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project teams
  • As finance key user for MS Dynamics AX you are the international contact person for operational finance specific related questions, including the integration with other departments
  • Draw up ad-hoc analysis
Your profile
  • You have a WO-bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Controlling
  • You have at least a few years of experience in Accounting & Controlling in a similar position
  • It goes without saying that you are data-driven, analytical and result-oriented
  • You take initiative, are involved with colleagues, you take ownership and have leadership skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English in words and writing
  • You have affinity with working in a production environment
